Community Vaccination Clinics are held in various cities in the five-county area. We feel that more pet owners can get their animals vaccinated if the cost is affordable and the location is close enough for those who need to walk or get transportation. All Community Vaccination Clinics are held on Saturday and/or Sunday – which is convenient for many pet owners!
The first Community Vaccination Clinic was held in Livonia in 2010. Within a 5 hour time frame, more than 150 animals – both cats and dogs – were updated on their vaccines! By watching and learning what pet owners needed and wanted, we began creating this original program so that more animals could be vaccinated from year-to-year; not skipping years because it “wasn’t affordable” or “the hours weren’t convenient”. To date, we have added micro-chipping and heartworm testing!
If you live in a City and feel our services would benefit YOUR community, give us a call and let’s talk about organizing and hosting a Community Vaccination Clinic. Most municipalities have increased the number of dog/cat licenses sold by hosting a Community Vaccination Clinic and allowing residents to purchase and license at the same time!
