The Pantry 4 Paws Pet Food Assistance program offers temporary assistance to those pet owners that have fallen on a challenging time – no animal should go to sleep hungry at night!*
Due to recent overwhelming demand for our pet food assistance program, Tail Waggers can only assist those pet owners that are clients of Tail Wagger. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.
Our program is confidential and the requirements are simple and easy to follow. Schools, churches, scouts, local retailers and pet owners have all donated to the Pantry 4 Paws so that hundreds of animals per year are kept fed with a healthy, consistent diet.
Tail Waggers also prides themselves on providing food to other rescue organizations – all over the State of Michigan – so that they, too, can feed animals that are in need!

Guidelines
The guidelines below are to ensure that the animals on our Pantry 4 Paws Pet Food Assistance Program are healthy and well cared for. To be approved for this program you are required to follow the policies listed below. There will be no exceptions to these policies.
Proof of up-to-date vaccines, performed by a licensed veterinarian is required for every animal on the program. This is the owners responsibility to provide, we will not call your vet to obtain proof.
If you would like Tail Waggers to be your Wellness Veterinarian Clinic, please contact us to schedule an appointment for your yearly vaccinations. Once your appointment is completed, you can then apply to become part of the Pantry For Paws Program.
If not current on vaccines, animals may stay on the program for 3 months while the owners are making a good faith effort to meet these guidelines.
Food will be provided for up to 5 animals and owners may NOT add additional animals while on the program. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
Evidence of fighting, breeding, selling of puppies/kittens or selling of donated food will result in an automatic dismissal from the program.
Membership may be revoked at the discretion of any Tail Wagger’s staff or volunteers.
